Vox Playgroup Question #1

[this is good]
I'm with you up to about 1984, then I don't know...no, good list!

I knew a guy who bought a house right after high school. Same thing happened to him. He was like, uh, I just want to wash my truck, you know?

It's funny when you list your ages as I'm automatically seeing my own when I read the song name, and they keep being off by a margin. The Logical Song, I felt the same way, though that was toward the end of 8th grade for me.

My dad's name on his birth certificate was "Billy Joe." Frankly, I found it a bit low-rent. But I feel that Terry is a vast improvement over Terrance. And I always wanted to meet that guy named Sue. I would go around reciting, "My name is Sue. How do you do? Now you gonna die!" Which, apparently, was alarming coming out of the mouth of a tiny little girly girl.
Well, we are not that far apart age wise. You would fall between my middle brother and myself. There was a one year spread between oldest and middle brother and a four year gap between middle brother and I. A seven year gap between me and little sister though. I was probably riding the big wheel while you were in first grade. LOL
You had a Big Wheel? Man. I was just a little too big for those when they came out. I was so jealous of the younger kids who got to ride them.
I had one, but the two idoits, er, brothers of mine, used to ride it like a scooter. They bent the crook of the seat down so that it dragged on the gorund and eventually wore down so Dad threw it out. Bastards.
the weird thing about this song list is that, not only do I know all of the songs and most of the lyrics, but my two teenage boys do as well. almost every morning, my oldest plays a mixed cd of 80s classics and he's just recently discovered 'ballroom blitz'...some mornings, in my pre-coffee moments, I feel like I'm in a time warp....
LOL. We bought a best of the 80's cd set for long road trips.
